Meet Phil
Phil Suarez was born and raised in the outskirts of Los Angeles, California, to a single mother, a nurse.
The community he grew up in was safe and clean, and his mother worked hard to put him and his brother into a christian school at a young age.
Despite their humble beginnings, Phil’s mom began introducing him to American Values like hard work, patriotism,
It is because of this fervor for patriotism that Phil has been serving his community and his nation since he was a teenager.
He proudly represented the William S Hart Fire Tech Academy during his school district’s annual awards ceremony and took home the Gold medal. He then continued on to become an instructor for the WSHFTA to help other students eager to serve learn the basics of fire fighting tactics and technologies.
After high school, Phil went on to join the United States Army. He volunteered to join the infantry, and to become a paratrooper. Upon the completion of his training, Phil was assigned as an infantryman to the US Army’s famed 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
During his time at Ft. Bragg, Phil completed many parachute operations and went on to lead a team on deployment to the Kandahar Province of Southern Afghanistan. Phil was laterally promoted ahead of his peers to the rank of Corporal, and served as a non-commissioned officer during his deployment. Operating in the birthplace of the Taliban, Phil lead his fireteam with honor and courage and was awarded an Army Commendation Medal and the renowned Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his service.
Upon returning to Ft. Bragg Phil unfortunately succumbed to a shoulder injury that would see him leave his military service behind him. It was during this time of recovery that he met his wife, Cory, at a local church. Today, they share 4 children. Isabella, Natalie, Joshua, & Penelope.
Now seen by the Obama administration as unfit to serve, Phil turned his attention towards serving his community in a new way. He began volunteering at his church and started a new career in real estate.
Phil and Cory moved their family to the Houston area in 2017, shortly before being displaced by Hurricane Harvey.
In a desperate attempt to keep their young family safe they took what belongings they had left and drove to California to stay with Phil’s parents while they got back on their feet. It was during this time back in California that Phil continued to serve at his local church and began going to school utilizing his GI Bill.
Unfortunately, the community that Phil came to know as a child was no longer clean, nor safe. Progressive liberals and weak, passive, Republicans had allowed it to become dirty, unsafe, and unfit for raising a family.
Phil and Cory returned to Brenham, TX in 2019, during COVID, where Phil finished his bachelor's degree online.
After graduation, Phil continued his career in real estate as a Regional Director for a $60M pro-tech company. It was during this time that Cory fell ill.
Phil was forced to leave his work to care for his wife and children full time, prioritizing the physical and emotional health of his family over his own career ambitions.
Phil and Cory chose to live in Central Texas. Not because of football, or bluebonnets, or rodeos. Because of the people. Texans are the last bastion of hope for our great Nation. We are the levy that progressivism crashes upon.
Today, Phil continues to serve in his local church, but our Nation has a critical choice to make about our future. Phil is running because he believes that Texans want to push the America First agenda forward.
We want less Wall St., and more Main St.. We want less wars, and more security. We want less government intervention, and more liberty.
President Trump will never be elected President of the United States again. So, it falls on The People to ensure that the America First agenda stays strong by electing strong Conservatives like Phil Suarez
Phil is running to affirm Texas values and a hometown conservative mindset to Congress. Especially under this new administration, we need tough conservative representation more than ever.
